Not at all. Our snorkelling tours are suitable for both beginners and experienced snorkellers. For those new to snorkelling, our instructors will provide easy-to-follow instructions to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.
What are the safety precautions on the snorkelling tour?
Our crew and snorkelling instructors will ensure the safety of all guests throughout the tour. You will be guided through a full safety briefing before you enter the water — our instructors will also be in the water alongside you to provide support when necessary.
The Great Barrier Reef is an expansive place, and it is quite common to encounter certain potentially dangerous marine life, such as sharks and jellyfish. Our tours are designed to avoid any hotspots that may pose a danger to you and will also provide you with the necessary knowledge to protect yourself in case of an emergency. As long as you respect the reef and its creatures, you’ll be just fine!
