				Simply a tour that is 100% worth it. The crew, consisting of Jake (the best captain), Charlie (jack of all trades), Carter (dive master), and Enzo (cook), made the tour so good. There was simply so much to experience and do on the tour; the absolute highlight was the water slide. Jake mastered the ride so easily; we got wet sometimes, but we're not made of sugar. Charlie stayed up with us until the middle of the night to play games and helped with the unpleasant things too. Carter introduced us to the underwater world. Enzo made us absolutely delicious food, and we never went hungry.

				As a solo traveller in their early 30's in particular, I was a little dubious initially when booking this trip as I realised it was a sister boat of the Atlantic Clipper - which I'd heard had the potential to be more "youthful" and chaotic, shall we say, which wasn't the vibe I was after. Regardless, I took the plunge as it was the only available boat on my dates in the Whitsundays. Safe to say I was more than pleasantly surprised and the trip exceeded all my expectations; from the amazing and friendly crew, to the delicious dinners served, to the activities that we indulged in, to the general energy on board with some amazing crew members. It was the perfect balance between chill and sociable if that's what you're after. I can say that amazing friendships were formed and incredible memories were made.



I'd just like to say a humongous thank you to all involved that allowed it to happen and for looking after everybody; that's you Ben, Enzo, and Harry! I was having a bit of hard time solo travelling prior this trip but it really turned things around for me and it's a moment I'll cherish forever. If you're pondering on whether to book this awesome cruise, I'd say go ahead and treat yourself!!

				The most magical weekend in May to escape the cold winter in Sydney. Spent the morning watching sky burnt sunrise over the ocean untouched views. 				Had an amazing sail trip with new horizon! the food by Eleanor was so delicious loved every meal, and it was inclusive for vegans, gluten frees! Harri ensured we made it to all our destinations safely and gave the smoothest boat ride I’ve ever been on! Ben was so friendly and knowledgeable on everything about the Whitsundays and I really enjoyed our chart read in the sunset, and Carter was brilliant taking us around Whitehaven and ensuring, we were all safe and happy throughout the trip. 				Had the best few days on the New Horizon with Harry (skipper), Laslo (mate), Carter (diver instructor) and Gaston the best chef! All the crew were so supportive and made sure we had the best time. We were really well fed and looked after. I had a broken foot and was so nervous about getting on and off the boat but they all looked after me so much and made sure I could do as many of the activities as possible.

We got loads of stops for swimming and Whitehaven beach and the sunsets and sunrises were magical. Thoroughly enjoyed my trip! Thank you all ❤️



Only criticism was how hot the cabins were. It was quite hard to sleep the first night and a lot of people struggled or had to sleep up on the top deck or in the kitchen area. The fan in the room made no difference as there was 24 people down there. The other cabin was really cold for other passengers so it must just be one AC unit not working.

				Great trip!! Jake the skipper did an amazing job keeping us safe and was very considerate of different routes for the people who got sea sick. Neik cooked up a delicious feast everyday with good options for dietary requirements. Carter was very knowledgeable with facts about the beaches we went to and helped with the stinger suites. Gaston moved us all from boat to boat and beach to beach with ease, he also had some fun bonding games for the group which brought us all a little closer!

				Wow!! What a trip we had around the Whitsundays on The New Horizon. This was massively contributed to by the amazing crew. Jake, Harry, Gaston and Lewis were the friendliest, loveliest crew and we couldn’t have asked them to do any more. I felt confident that we were safe the entire time and also that we were going to have so much fun!! They were so knowledgable and always able to answer any question we had. All 4 crew were attentive to anything we needed.  The only fault I have to comment on is we were promised a service with air-con, to which the air-con in our cabin was broken- this resulted in myself having 1 night sleeping on the deck outside, and the other on the floor of the other cabin with 20+ people. The other people in my cabin spent two nights on the floor of the deck outside, with lightning in the distance this was not the most pleasant.  Although the lack of sleep was tricky at times, I did love the trip overall. The crew were incredibly sympathetic to the air con situation and did reassure us that they, themselves had tried to fix it. This is in no way a criticism towards the crew as it was an issue outside of their control, however I do believe the company are responsible, as we paid for a service that guaranteed air-con and it did make sleeping virtually impossible for 2 days.  We loved sharing stories with the crew and the other passengers on board and it was overall an amazing atmosphere on the new horizon- I believe this was largely due to our fantastic crew. 				We just spent an unforgettable weekend on the New Horizon in the stunning Whitsundays, and I can honestly say it was the best experience ever! From the moment we boarded, the atmosphere was electric. Jake, our skipper, was a bundle of energy and positivity, making every moment on the boat so much fun. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he really knew how to create a lively and enjoyable environment.  Lewis, the mate, was a treasure trove of knowledge about the islands and the boats. He shared fascinating stories and insights that made our journey even more enriching, and we shared plenty of laughs along the way. Harry, another crew member, was attentive and made sure we were all well taken care of, adding to the overall fantastic experience.  And let's not forget Gaston, the chef! He whipped up some amazing meals. We were always well-fed, which made our time on board even more enjoyable.  To top it all off, my birthday fell on the last day of our trip, and the crew went out of their way to make me feel special. They truly made the day memorable, especially when they got the slide out! The only downside was that our cabin's air conditioning was broken, which made it pretty hot at night, so we ended up sleeping on the deck. While that was a bit uncomfortable, it didn't take away from the overall experience.  All in all, we had a sensational time exploring the breathtaking islands, and I can't recommend New Horizon highly enough!

				Just back from a 2 night trip round the Whitsundays, and couldn’t have asked for a better crew to take us! Ben’s knowledge + humour was unmatched, he had such a passionate and refreshing outlook on things, you couldn’t help but listen! whether that be the cultural history of the islands or all about the coral reef, he knew his stuff! Gaston’s cooking was out of this world!! it just kept getting better and better, and there was always PLENTY of food, you never go hungry! the spaghetti bolognese was the best meal I think Ive had since I began travelling 3 months ago! I didn’t scuba dive but those who did said how good it was  + said how  Enzo made it so simple + enjoyable! Liam was super friendly, when he wasn’t busy sailing us round all the best spots! All in all, super lovely + welcoming crew!!  The islands themselves are just amazing, cameras will never do it justice! Although you do get super hot and sweaty, the walk to the viewpoint and beach for White Haven was definitely worth it! Very much a once in a lifetime experience!

				We had a great trip on the Atlantic Clipper. Saw so much beautiful marine life, definitely do all the snorkelling and enjoy the beach at Whitehaven because it is gorgeous! We saw stingrays at the beach (stinger suits provided as we came in December in stinger season), saw turtles and dolphins by the boat too. The crew were really welcoming and friendly, we enjoyed the games on the 2nd night and the food was really good, all dietary requirements catered for!

				10/10 experience! Had the most epic time on New Horizon for a 2 day/2 night sailing adventure. Sailing through the beautiful Whitsundays with whales and dolphins was such a treat. Even the sleeping arrangements were great and super comfortable. Felt like I had plenty of room and great touch with the aircon. The crew were awesome, engaging and ensured we had loads of fun, fed well and got the most out of our time in the Whitsundays. Ben, our chef, was phenomenal and great for a laugh. Matt, the deckhand, was so friendly, great with his knowledge of marine life and the local area. Enzo, the dive instructor, was so lovely, super patient with all the beginners and great tunes 😉 And our epic skipper Harry...what a legend! Navigated us through some wild weather on the last day and although we came back drenched, I felt very comfortable with Harry at the wheel. Thanks guys!!!

				As a solo traveller I can honestly say i had the best time on the boat trip! It wasn’t at all like the reputation I’d heard about it, the vibes were very chill and the whole crew were brilliant at their jobs. There’s plenty of fun activities to do throughout the day or you can sunbathe on the deck- there’s no pressure to do anything you don’t want to. 				Going to see the Whitsundays on the Atlantic Clipper has been such a highlight of my trip in Australia.  The boat was amazing, it's a large boat so can handle choppy weather well, it has hot showers and comfortable bed  The crew on our boat were Matt, Matt, Nathan,Tommy and Skipper Benny were fantastic hosts the whole time. They took great care of us for every moment and kept us well entertained. Matt's food was great, and there was lots of it and Tommy is a great dive guide.  If youre heading to the Whitsundays, it is definitely the best boat to do it on.

				What a way to see the Whitsundays. Start to finish, an amazing inclusive experience. The crew took care of every need and kept us feeling extremely safe. Harry especially as our skipper, sailing through some big waves and taking us for some incredible sunsets.  Loved the food and shout out to Lewis for the best mash in Australia. Loved the snorkelling, and even took an introductory dive with Adam which was great, he was very knowledgeable and I loved seeing the depths of the Whitsundays. 				The tour was great! The ship was on the rockier side due to the weather we were having, so quite a few people got sick. Would definitely recommend taking preventative travel sickness tablets if you choose New Horizon!! The team on board - Ben (Big), Ben (Lash), and Enzo were all friendly and knowledgeable. Liam did a great job as Skipper while sailing through some patches of wind and rain. They kept things lighthearted while also ensuring safety and keeping to the schedule during our few days. The food was amazing - Lash made the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. Beds are basic but to be expected. There are 2 showers and toilets on board. We had mixed weather - I do wish the boat had some covers for shade/rain in the day. You are fully exposed on deck to rain or sun as the seats in the kitchen area are not enough to seat everyone on board. As well, would have loved if the outside benches had cushions as they were a  bit uncomfortable to sit on. However, the activities were fun - included a blow up slide, Whitehaven Beach, and snorkelling/diving. Would 10/10 recommend. One of the highlights of my trip by far!

				Such a good experience! If you’re looking for a mix between a fun sightseeing boat and a bit of a party boat then this is the tour for you. The crew are all absolutely amazing, helpful and friendly, the food was so good too. Only thing I would have changed is keeping the vegetarian or dietary requirements on a completely separate table or only in the kitchen so that they aren’t having their food taken by accident . The boat was so fun and as someone who gets motion sickness , I really was not affected badly across the trip.

				New Horizon was genuinely the best few days of my trip. I was very scared to go on it at first due to travel sickness, but once i was on there i felt absolutely fine. the boast was very clean and spacious, the views around the whitsundays islands were incredible but on top of all the the staff were amazing! Jake, Ben, Kian and Jordy were all so funny and enthusiastic and you can tell they absolutely love their jobs. Ben knew so much information of the whitsundays islands and was haletioud, jake the captain was so funny and let me have the aux for the  and spoke to me about my asthma when i arrived to reassure me that the staff knew what they were doing if anything was to happen, the food on the boat was beautiful and tasted amazing and much i highly congratulate jordy for feeding 30 people at the same time, and kian was fun to be around and entertaining. All the staff are very funny and never push you to do anything you don’t want to do, as some of the water activities people had never done before and they let you do what you feel comfortable with. The 6am wake ups were funny as they choose music for you to wake up too, I highly recommend this trip and it is a great way to meet new people on your travels

				I had such an amazing time. I’d describe it as a hostel on a boat. Nothing but good vibes, amazing people, friendly crew. Only difference is the food is just so much better!!! Definitely recommend. It’s all so chill and relaxed but you find yourself doing so much at the same time… the slide to the water just really brings out the inner child. 				This trip was amazing, my time on the New Horizon was the best time I’ve had in Australia thus far. Big Big, Tommy, Disco Stu and of course Ayla our skipper are all amazing. They make the whole trip fun, informative, welcoming and there are loads of great activities included. My personal favourite was Scuba diving but the snorkelling, chart reading and slide and jump board are also really fun and of course Whitehaven is absolutely gorgeous and the food is delicious! 				We had a great time on the 2 day, 2 night trip on the Atlantic clipper. It is the best way to enjoy all the highlights of the Whitsundays. Even with the weather being wet and windy the crew still made sure we were all having a great time. Shout out to Pepper, Laslo, Xavier, Marine, Jayden and Little Ben for making the trip great fun! From playing football on Whitehaven beach to partying on the boat it was fantastic from start to finish.

				Overall we had a good trip on the Clipper! Ben and Laslo were especially friendly with everyone, making sure we had a fun but safe time. The crew could have been more communicative during an issue with the sister ship but dealt with the situation quickly and safely. Food on board was better than I’d expected. The air conditioning could be improved in the cabins, particularly the top bunks as they were absolutely boiling on our trip. Would recommend.

				This trip was absolutly worth it!! The rooms are nice and food amazing. We had some snacks and fruits during the day. I stayed here during Christmas time and the crew made it special for me even when I was far away from home that day🫶 Generally the whole crew was super helpful all the time and made sure there was a good atmosphere on the boat which made it super fun for us. The snorkeling and water slides were my favourite activity!! I can highly recommend you to the trip, it was lovely and super fun to party here!

Snorkelling and Scuba Diving in the Whitsundays

Fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty, colourful coral, and magnificent marine life and go snorkelling and scuba diving with the True Blue team. We’ve been taking visitors, beginners and advanced, out to scuba dive and snorkel at the world-renowned Great Barrier Reef for over 10 years.

Our snorkelling and scuba-diving tours depart from Airlie Beach, taking you on an unforgettable journey sailing the Whitsunday Islands through to the Great Barrier Reef. To ensure your safety, you will be guided through a full safety briefing and accompanied by our snorkelling or scuba-diving instructors throughout the tour.

Provided on your tour will be all the necessary snorkelling or scuba diving equipment, as well as a wetsuit or stinger suit for sun and stinger protection. Our tours run all year round, and at certain times of the year, marine stingers are more prevalent, making stinger suits necessary.

How do I book a tour?

You can book any True Blue Sailing tour through our online booking platform or by contacting our reservation team on 07 4940 2000. Once you’ve booked, we will send you a “confirmation email” from res@whitsailing.com, providing a link to confirm your details.

After you’ve completed your online confirmation, you’re all set! Two days before your tour, when you will receive a “check-in reminder”. Click on this link to receive your boarding pass and meeting time and location.

What is included in an overnight tour?

Our all-inclusive True Blue Sailing overnight tours provide almost everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable Whitsunday sailing tour. This includes:

All meals and morning and afternoon snacks
Take you to Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout, and Snorkelling locations (including the natural wonder, The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park)
Snorkelling equipment, like stinger suit, mask, and snorkel available
Paddleboards
Water slides and Lili Pad water activities from off the boat
Fresh linen
Amenities, like toilets, showers, and air conditioning
And provide sunset drinks at our beach party

What do I need to bring on an overnight tour?

Do I need travel insurance?

We recommend every traveller has travel insurance. Ensure your travel insurance covers illness, COVID-19, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings, and natural disasters, road closures, and flight delays that can cause you to miss your trip.

At True Blue Sailing, we make every effort to safeguard passengers aboard our tours. However, we cannot be held responsible for things out of our control, such as weather or personal injury or loss.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our True Blue Sailing cancellation policy varies on the type of tour you book.

Overnight tours: A minimum 14 day cancellation notice period.
Private charters: A minimum 30 day cancellation notice period.

If you fail to cancel within the notice period, your ticket will be forfeited and you will not be eligible for a refund.

If you wish to move your tour date within the cancellation period, a transfer fee of $50 per person may be applicable.

Please note that booking through a travel agent or other booking options requires following their cancellation policy and booking terms. Some agents may have longer or shorter notice periods.

Yes, we do! Whether you seek adventure or prefer to relax in the beauty of the Whitsunday Islands, we have the one-day sailing Whitsunday tour to match. See what our one-day active scuba-diving and snorkelling tours offer, or see our beach tour for a more laid-back day. Alternatively, customise your own day with private charter tours.

If you only have a limited time while visiting the Whitsundays but still want to be properly immersed in the region’s breathtaking landscape and ocean – a one-day Whitsunday tour is the perfect option.
