Due to Airlie Beach being located in the tropics we can occasionally experience inclement weather. Our wet season is usually anywhere from December to May and we highly recommend you purchase Travel Insurance which would cover for such things as road closures, flight, bus, or tour cancellations.

Our tours offer adventure sailing and we do not cancel due to rain, clouds or strong winds. The Whitsundays is deemed partially smooth waters and tours will only be cancelled if the Regional Harbour Master closes the area or if the Operator or Skipper of the vessel deems the weather to be unsafe. The safety of our guests and our Crew is our highest priority and our Operations Team or Crew reserve the right to vary itineraries or cancel a trip with little or no notice for safety and comfort of our passengers. We also reserve the right to substitute vessels at any time, for any reason.

Clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control. At certain times of year ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the operators of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death, or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk, you will be provided with a full length protective ‘Stinger Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during your trip.
