Day 1
Your 2 day 2 night Whitsunday sailing adventure kicks off from Airlie Beach. After settling into your onboard accommodations, we’ll cruise along to Bauer Bay at South Molle Island for your first dip in the water..
Next stop is Hook Passage, where you’ll be treated to uninterrupted views of the sunset over the Whitsunday Islands. Dinner is freshly prepared onboard, followed by an evening of music, flowing drinks, and mingling.
Day 2
We’ll start making our way to the iconic Whitehaven Beach as you indulge in breakfast. Our crew will make a stop at Tongue Bay and guide you on foot to the Hill Inlet Lookout for a view of Whitehaven Beach’s natural white sediment formations.
You’ll soon find yourself on the soft sand of the beach with plenty of time to swim frolick while our crew prepares a buffet lunch on board. We’ll sail from Whitehaven Beach to some of the best snorkelling and diving spots in the Whitsundays region - Luncheon Bay and Blue Pearl Bay. All snorkelling gear and wetsuits are provided for you to get up close and personal with the marine residents of the local coral reef.
The last stop for the day will be at Langford Island for an exclusive sunset beach party complete with cocktails and tunes.
Day 3
You’ll have plenty of time to take a cool morning swim or soak in the sun before we start heading back to Airlie Beach.
The party doesn’t end when we’re back on the mainland - you’ll be invited for an exclusive True Blue after party with your new mates on the trip! Enjoy VIP discounts on food and drinks and reminisce on the lifelong memories you’ve made. And that’s a wrap on your 2 day 2 night Whitsunday sailing adventure.

What do I need to pack for a 2 day Whitsunday tour?
We provide the main things you need for your 2 Day Whitsunday Tour. However, there are a few extra things you can pack to make your adventure extra comfortable.
- Sun protection (hats, sunblock, loose-fitting clothes, etc)
- Swimwear
- Beach towel
- Camera to capture the beautiful memories (preferably waterproof)
- BYO alcohol and drinks – we provide fridges on board to keep your drinks fresh

Is a 2-day sailing tour long enough to see the Whitsundays?
Two days is enough time to sail around the Whitsundays and all the main attractions. On our True Blue Sailing 2 Day Tours, you will experience the tropical destinations of the Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet lookout, among other awe-inspiring locations on some of Whitsundays 74 Islands. You will also have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, or paddle through the beautiful World Heritage Site – the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
However, beware that once you visit the Whitsundays, you won’t want to leave. You’ve been warned!
How many guests will be on the 2-day Whitsunday tour?
The New Horizon has a maximum group size of 32 people, making it ideal for those who want a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere for a 2-day sailing tour, like couples and smaller groups of families and friends.
The Atlantic Clipper is a mega yacht capable of hosting up to 54 guests - its vibrant and social atmosphere is popular among younger travellers and backpackers looking to make new friends on the adventure.
Is there a minimum age for the 2-day sailing tour?
Yes. Our guests must be at least 18 years old to come on board either the New Horizon or the Atlantic Clipper due to the BYO policy. Our guests tend to be between the ages of 18 and 35, but there’s no maximum age - the young at heart are more than welcome to join in the party!
Are there private cabins on the vessel?
The Atlantic Clipper has private double-bed and twin-bed cabins for travellers who want more privacy on the 2-day Whitsundays tour.
How long is the sailing tour?
Unlike other 2-day 1-night sailing tours in the region, True Blue offers an additional night for the tour, giving you more time to soak in the beauty of the Whitsundays instead of heading back to the mainland. Our 2-day 2-night tours end on the morning of the third day, back at the Coral Sea Marina on Airlie Beach.
